wait and see that the Lord is good....

Many years ago when we came back from Africa, where we worked as Mission partners, i had a few ; ) hearts desires...but one of them was that i longed to be able to get our milk straight from a farm, in a churn, mainly to do away with all that plastic packaging....well, it's finally happened 19 years after i expressed my hearts desire.

It just goes to show, that God knows all, and that He will give us the desires of our hearts, if they match His, in His own time....

Has it been worth waiting, yes it has, i have more time now, then i did then, when our older children where growing up, time to chat with the farmer, stroke the calves, rub noses with the cows; )

and X X is challenged and stretched, as she is still overcome with fear of these great big gentle beasts and the eagerness of the calves...

My babe is going through a funny turn at the mo, her immune system is down, she is full, full of cold, as you can see in the photos, and she is very clingy and insecure.

Is it an age thing? X X is 4, nearly home 2 years.

We have constant repetition of love, and endless needs for cuddles which aren't savoured or truly enjoyed, whilst at the same time a longing to be independent. Baby behaviour has surfaced again, and she calls for me constantly : )

Would love to hear from other adoptive parents that recognise this as part of the attachment development : )

Be encouraged, it may not be happening quick enough, you may not see the end of the journey, but be faithful to your dreams and hearts desires, put God first and seek His heart, and in due course, you will see the fulfilment of His promises

Happy Happy Birthday Love!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today is my beloved's Birthday : ) He is my Rock and i'm the water, always swirling, bouncing, dripping (not nagging ; ) and He is un movable : )
God knew what He was doing 26 years ago, when He brought a wild Brasilian to marry this fun loving, solid, Christian, English country vet : )
in fact his car always smelt soooo bad of....well who knows, that the garage people said he'd never get a girl friend with a car like that!!!!
Ha!!!! God knew better, i can survive most, key word is most ; ) things!!!

We celebrated yesterday with his Sister Penny, our nephew and Godson David and Chris' Mommy Joan.
And in true big sister style Auntie Penny gave her Bro a mad hatters tea party!!!!! with hat, funny edibles and an Alice in wonderland t pot : )
I do belong in a very 'wonderfully odd' family : )

and X X...well she was in heaven, got to unwrap the pressie and help Daddy blow out the candles : )

a year today....

Chris pointed out to me, that a year today we signed the contract for Manor Farm, and today as every other Saturday we worked with the builders to get this old farm house in a better condition than when we moved in nearly a year ago....

well...almost all Saturdays,,,,cause the last one, we had a pumpkin party...well an Autumn Moon/harvest/thanksgiving party and it was awesome. We did oit as a team, but Ellen couldbn't be here due to the dreaded bug!!!!

I wish i could put all the photos up, but not everyone likes to be on bloggy land....so here are some of my favourites... EDITED...couldn't resist so hope no one minds more photos : )

and Mom, here's the photo of XX sitting on the big pumpkin, i hope Angelina likes it :) can you believe it, these pumpkins were ALL grown from seed : )

another panel...another...YES!!!!!!!!

We have gone to panel and we have been approved to adopt again from China!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So family and friends....i am now officially pregnant!!!!

all be it a three to four year one, pregnant nevertheless : )

so i'm back on Rumor Queen......up....and... down......on the roller coaster ride....

or maybe this time, i'll learn to trust....that it's all in His hands....and i'm so so so glad of that!!!!

Since coming back from China, i have been feeling very very tired, i now realise that the energy i had whilst there was nothing short of super natural : ) i kid you not!!!!

I have been in bed most nights by 8pm!!!

This Sunday just gone Bobby our youngest Son has gone to University in London, i will put some photos up as soon as i get them off my phone, as my camera ran out of batery on the day!!!
